Yes, I too thought of it as two words, but in 2006 Merriam-Webster defined crowdsourcing as a noun meaning the practice of obtaining needed services, ideas, or content by soliciting contributions from a large group of people and especially from the online community rather than from traditional employees or suppliers. The story of the Columbian Trio Concert Company would be long forgotten were it not for postcards. Concert events that happened more than 100 years ago and the people who performed, if they were left to the newspapers would never be a part of the social history they created. Once again postcard history carries the day.
