Postcard History will celebrate two years of publication at the end of May. As the editor, it has been a pleasure to work with a team that strives to make postcard collecting both fun and educational.
“Tragedy” and “Disaster” are both ugly words. Tragedy involves great suffering, distress, and destruction. Disaster describes a sudden event or accident that causes great damage and involves loss of life. By definition of these two words the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge was both. And a century old tradition continued – making postcards to tell the story.
