The only zoologist I know calls critters like the ostrich The Creator’s Experiments; He just wanted to see if they would work. The accounts in Genesis tell us the birds were made on day five. Since day five is a little late in the creation week maybe “experiments” is a little harsh.

The “why” in, “Why are the homes of famous people so fascinating?” is easy. Everyone who visits gets the feeling of knowing someone noteworthy. It was once men like these British men of letters. Other homes, like those of politicians, military heroes, and sportsmen are the same.
