Postcard History

The National Army Museum of the UK calls the Boer War a bitter colonial war against the Boers in South Africa. For three years (1899-1902) the British Army outnumbered the Boers, but the Boers were a skilled and determined enemy. The British prevailed, but not without adopting controversial tactics.
