The Fischer Quintuplets were born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, on September 14, 1963. They were the first quintuplets to survived after the birth in 1934 of the Dionne quintuplets of Ontario, Canada. Negative Space is not a common expression, but art students around the world understand it and it is frequently a standard “assignment” in art classes.
