Moonlight postcards have a magic appeal for everyone. In the Golden Age of the postcard they were a mark of any right-thinking town, to show off their modern way of life and their up-to-date streets.
Alliteration, the captivating repetition of initial consonant sounds within a phrase or sentence, is a valuable tool in a writer’s arsenal. There are only a few postcards that illustrate literary skills. This “Susan Is” set is a perfect example.
