    A time-honored American institution, the Girl Scouts, has a tradition of trust, loyalty, service, and courtesy. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, millions of young girls learned the attributes of good citizenship as members. Girl Scout postcards are highly collectible. A recent interview with a collector of observatory postcards was great fun. I had no plan for another until Bill Ward came to my office one day. We talked about books and his postcard collection that he said was just words and notes. Bill’s words were really special and his notes were better.
