    This Wynken, Blynken and Nod bronze statue sits in the center of the village green. It commemorates “The Dutch Lullaby” that was penned by Eugene Field in 1889. There should be a special word in every language for the “biography” of a ship. Perhaps we could create one. The word – ship – comes from the Old English word ”scip.” In Old High German there was the word “skif.” Perhaps we could call this article a “skifography.”
