Is it some sort of munitions testing facility? Why build it in downtown Baltimore? There’s a reason for everything, and then I found out there were lots of them, and some are still around, almost 200 years and several technological revolutions later.

Christmas is only weeks away. It is time to find the seasonal decorations and think about who was naughty and who was nice. Luisa Tetrazzini was nice in 1910. She made Christmas special when she sang for the citizens of San Francisco on Christmas Eve.
