    The writings, collections and artwork of children is seldom found in museum archives. A situation that is a real social failure. Curators are loathe to see such documents destroyed but it happens every day. When the “kids” go off to college the 8th grade essay books go to the dumpster. Shame on us, America.

There was a movie (1949, I think) and then a television show about a naked city and the stories of its people. In this story the people are real and the facts are true, but everything about the featured postcards is wonky and weird. It’s one of the eight-million stories.
