Shankar’s Award and a Kid Named Carlos

The writings, collections and artwork of children is seldom found in museum archives. A situation that is a real social failure. Curators are loathe to see such documents destroyed but it happens every day. When the “kids” go off to college the 8th grade essay books go to the dumpster. Shame on us, America.

Big cities aren’t for everyone, but it would be hard to imagine the actual state of humanity if we all lived in the woods. Where there are a lot of people, there are a lot of undesirable things: noise, tight-quarters, traffic, unreasonable prices. These are the costs we bare!
