Silhouettes were once among the most popular forms of art. Anyone could afford a silhouette because they were sold in resort gift shops and on seaside boardwalks. The one my mother had made of me came from Coney Island.

A postcard of a military attack is used as a Christmas greeting; why? The scene shows an event motivated by hatred and a demand for revenge. Questions without answers. Sadly, no decisions except that color postcards are better.
