Some Americans today have little concern for the American Revolution. Is the reason that, it was so long ago? In a small South Carolina town, in the 1780s, an almost forgotten battle was fought, but Postcard History reminds us that our patriot ancestors fought wherever necessary to guarantee our freedoms.

Every collector has the same dilemma every time they leave home to find additions to their collection. Postcards collectors, however, have a slight advantage – we (or at least a very high percentage of us) know what we’re looking for. Perfect examples appear daily on the Internet Auction sites – surely you have found some bargains but there is always the $2 card someone wants to sell for $49.99.
