The Red Cross was founded by Henri Dunant, who was present at the Battle of Solferino in 1859, at which 40,000 men were killed or wounded. How you celebrate the 4th of July is a personal choice. Some like it loud. Some like it soft as in marshmallow soft. For me, it will be iced tea and a hotdog on the patio, listening to the John Philip Sousa marches wafting across the lake on a summer breeze.
