In Davidson, North Carolina there is a small liberal arts college founded on principles of higher learning set forth by the Presbyterian Church in America. It is one of over sixty similarly affiliated colleges and universities. Presidents, statesmen, athletes, scientists, and men of letters have earned degrees at Davidson. It’s small but has a powerful history.
