Young men, by the tens-of-thousands, came of age in the early 20th century dreaming that one day they would join the Navy to “See the World.” Service on American naval vessels is certainly an achievement to be proud of. Today Postcard History dedicates this article to our veterans who have served as officers and crew members aboard our mighty battleships.
