In Louis Comfort Tiffany’s obituary in the New York Times (Jan.18,1933) are the words, “He was among the best known of American artists.” He was! And not only as a painter and watercolorist; he was also known for his work in glass. Worldwide, collectors and modern art enthusiasts were clamoring to own a piece of his work. His famous windows on postcards are still popular.
