Since 1869 college football stadiums, in every state, fill with fans on weekends in autumn to watch their favorite teams. The competitions all play-out the same – half the fans go home disappointed; the others go home elated. Postcards that show the stadiums where these annual rituals take place often become treasured souvenirs.
