South Dakota has been one of America’s favorite vacation destinations since Henry Ford built the second Model-T. It is simply a wonderful place to go by car. The list of favorite attractions is long, but on that list is the one and only Mitchell Corn Palace. It may seem strange to visit a building and not go inside, but it happens a half-million times each year. People from across the country go to Mitchel to look at corncobs nailed to a wall.
